đ Msi Motherboard Audio Not Working
3. Feb 10, 2021. #1. Have been struggling to get my audio working on my new installation. I have the update Realtek HD Universal Driver ( 6.0.9088.1) and "updated" Nahimic thru the Microsoft store. When I launch Nahimic, I get the screen that says NAHIMIC can't be used, your audio driver is not up to date or your system is not compatible.

They work on other devices, just not this one. The new motherboard also comes with new jacks, but theu also do not work, all USB plugs, including the new ones, all work though. I'm on a Windows 10 PC. My new motherboard is . msi Tomahawk B450. I've spent countless hours trying different solutions, all have ended in failure.

1. I don't need sound "before" windows loads. I doubt that's even possible. I'm trying to get the start up sound working AND the system sounds like device connect/disconnect/fail, recycle bin, exclamation, default sound etc. NONE of them worked for 30 seconds after boot.
If your microphone is also not working , Go to the Recording tab. Perform steps 4 and 5 for the microphone as well. Double-click on the device and go to the Listen tab. Check Continue running when on battery power. Head over to the Levels tab and set the volume to the highest and make sure the device is not muted.

New pc build will not connect to audio through the jacks. I have a z590 msi mpg carbon wifi motherboard. Everything else is working fine except the audio jacks. I checked and there are no realtek drivers showing in device manager under sound even though i did download them. Instead it shows high definition audio twice but not realtek.
